Course Conditions

Going into the 2017 season we wll continue working on tree removal and trimming to showcase all of our beautiful hill country views. We have already started the process of reinstalling the greenside bunker on 17.  I want to personally thank the memberhip for observing cart path rules this year giving us healthy turf in the fairways for the first time since I have been here. We will continue making necessary improvements to the bunkers and the surrounds over the next few months as well. Also the retaining wall on 18 and 12 have become fairly weak structorally and we will begin rebuilding certain trouble areas in the near future.

If you have played recently you may have notice we have incorporated a more native look with some of the rough areas. We are going for more of a Hill Country Native look. The primary rough will still be mowed the nomal height. Outside the primary areas we will letting the native grass grow to a unifom height.

In closing I hope to see everyone enjoying the crews hardwork and dedication.  We are moving forward to providing a beautiful hill country track with the best greens in Austin.
